Along the 255-kilometre concession section of the A2 motorway, between Świecko and Konin, motorists can count on round-the-clock support from motorway services. Every day, we ensure that journeys are fast, safe and comfortable – regardless of the time of day, the weather or road conditions.

The concession section of the A2 motorway between Świecko and Konin is monitored round the clock by patrols and the motorway’s surveillance system. During the day, patrols visit every section of the motorway every 2 hours, and at night – every 4 hours. During their rounds, patrol officers check the hard shoulders, verges, the condition of safety nets and fencing, remove minor obstructions, and, in the event of more serious hazards, immediately notify the emergency response teams. When a breakdown, collision or other hazard occurs on the road, a patrol arrives at the scene within 15 minutes on average, secures the situation and assists travellers.

The concession section of the A2 is under constant monitoring, and the motorway services respond immediately whenever action is required. We work closely with the police, the fire service and the emergency medical services.

Five patrol vehicles, each covering approximately 50 kilometres of the motorway, are constantly on the move around the motorway 24 hours a day. In total, they cover around 5,500 kilometres every day, checking the condition of the road surface, road markings, energy-absorbing barriers, fencing and the infrastructure of Motorway Rest and Service Areas (MSAs).

The role of the motorway patrols is not only to respond to unforeseen incidents, but also to ensure the smooth flow of traffic and eliminate potential hazards. If an obstacle appears on the road – such as a piece of tyre, a bumper or any other object posing a threat to road safety – the information is forwarded to the Motorway Management Centre, and the relevant services intervene immediately.

The Motorway Management Centre (CZA) also receives reports from drivers via the emergency number 61 83 83 112. When contacting the operator, it is helpful to provide details of the nature of the incident, its location on the motorway and any additional information that may assist in a swift response.

The concession section of the A2, is much more than just road infrastructure. It is also a well-coordinated team of experts and practitioners who ensure the safety of millions of travellers every day. Support is available to every driver 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
