On 25 July 2026, Autostrada Wielkopolska SA will commence road resurfacing works at the Poznań Komorniki junction (159 km A2). The works will involve replacing the wearing course on all slip roads at the junction and on sections of Głogowska Street and Poznańska Street, which are located in the vicinity of the junction and are managed by Autostrada Wielkopolska.
Work will commence immediately after the completion of roadworks and the full reopening to traffic at the Poznań Krzesiny junction. The scope of the works will include the replacement of the surface wearing course on the junction’s slip roads and on sections of Głogowska and Poznańska Streets.
The refurbishment will be carried out in stages so that, throughout the entire duration of the works, drivers can travel in all directions. Where possible, traffic will be diverted via the junction’s other slip roads. In other cases, diversions will be put in place.
The works being carried out form part of a long-term planned infrastructure maintenance programme run by Autostrada Wielkopolska. The company systematically replaces the road surface before serious damage occurs, thereby maintaining the route’s high technical standard and ensuring drivers’ safety and comfort whilst travelling.
In the first phase of the works, construction activities will focus on the fast lane of Głogowska Street towards Komorniki and on the slip road between Świecko (A2) and Komorniki.
- On Głogowska Street, the carriageway will be narrowed to a single lane and the speed limit will be reduced to 60 km/h.
- A diversion for vehicles travelling from Świecko towards Komorniki will be in place via the other slip roads at the Komorniki junction.
Work will then move to the hard shoulder of Głogowska Street towards Komorniki and the slip roads for the Poznań – Świecko (A2) and Warsaw (A2) – Komorniki routes.
- On Głogowska Street, traffic will be channelled via the fast lane with a speed limit of 60 km/h within the work zone.
- For vehicles travelling from Poznań and wishing to join the A2 motorway towards Świecko, the diversion will be via the slip roads at the Poznań Komorniki junction
- Drivers travelling on the A2 motorway from the direction of Warsaw and wishing to reach Komorniki will be directed via a diversion. After exiting the motorway, follow Głogowska Street towards Poznań to the junction with Kowalewicka Street, turn round at the roundabout onto Głogowska Street, and then return along Głogowska Street towards Komorniki.

Once work on the Poznań–Świecko link road (A2) has been completed, the Komorniki–Świecko link road (A2) will be renovated.
- Work on the Warsaw–Komorniki link road will continue; the diversion will remain in place as in the previous stage
- Drivers travelling from Komorniki and wishing to join the A2 towards Świecko should follow the designated diversion via Głogowska Street to the roundabout at Kowalewicka Street, where they should turn round, then return along Głogowska Street to the Poznań Komorniki junction and join the A2 motorway towards Świecko.

The contractor will then commence repair works on the slow lane of Głogowska/Poznańska Street towards Poznań and on the Warsaw (A2) – Poznań link road; works will also continue on the Komorniki – Świecko (A2) link road.
- On Głogowska Street, traffic will be channelled into the fast lane with a speed limit of 60 km/h.
- Diversion for drivers travelling from Komorniki towards Świecko (no changes). The route follows Głogowska Street to the roundabout at Kowalewicka Street, where drivers must turn round, then return along Głogowska Street to the Poznań Komorniki junction and join the A2 motorway towards Świecko.

- For the closed slip road leading from the A2 from Warsaw towards Poznań, the diversion will be routed via the junction’s other slip roads.
Once the renovation of the slow lane on Głogowska Street is complete, work will move to the fast lane towards Poznań and to the Poznań Komorniki junction slip road between Komorniki and Warsaw (A2).
- For the closed Komorniki–Warsaw slip road, a diversion via the junction’s other slip roads will be in place.
- On Głogowska Street, traffic will be channelled via the slow lane (narrowed carriageway) and a speed limit of 60 km/h will apply.
In the final stage of the works, the Poznań–Warsaw (A2) and Świecko (A2)–Poznań slip roads will be renovated.
- A diversion will be put in place for the closed Poznań–Warsaw slip road via Głogowska, Ściegiennego, Arciszewskiego, Hetmańska, Żegrze, Bobrzańska and B. Krzywoustego streets to the Poznań Krzesiny junction.

- Drivers travelling on the A2 from the direction of Świecko and wishing to exit towards Poznań will be asked to use the exit at the Poznań Luboń junction.
The renovation works on the slip roads at the Poznań Komorniki junction and on the section of Głogowska Street in Poznań are scheduled to last approximately 5 weeks. Please keep in mind that the final completion date will depend on weather conditions.
We ask drivers to exercise particular caution, observe speed limits and follow the temporary traffic signage. This will ensure that travelling through the section under repair is safer for both road users and the road workers carrying out the works.
The junction of Głogowska Street with Maria Lange Street and Opłotki Street in Poznań is not included in the scope of the works.
Once work on the slip roads at the Poznań Komorniki junction and sections of Głogowska Street has been completed, renovation work will begin on Poznańska Street in Komorniki, in the area of the junction with Daimlera Street and Magazynowa Street; we will provide further details in a separate announcement.
