Infrastructure for Electromobility

Drivers of electric vehicles can confidently plan their trips along the concession section of the A2 motorway. Charging stations for electric vehicles are available at each of the 22 Motorway Rest and Service Areas operated by Autostrada Wielkopolska, developed in cooperation with Polenergia Group and Allego. This marks another step toward sustainable mobility and environmentally friendly transport.

Our activities are guided not only by the goals of ensuring efficient and safe road traffic but also by a commitment to sustainable development and protection of the surrounding landscape. One of the key initiatives in this area is the development of infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs). Together with our partners, we have built a complete network of ultra-fast charging stations along the concession section of the A2 motorway between Świecko and Konin.

  • Along the concession section of the A2 motorway, 30 ultra-fast, multi-point EV chargers have been installed, with capacities ranging from 150 kW to 400 kW.
  • At the Chociszewo and Rogoziniec Rest and Service Areas, charging stations have been installed for both passenger cars and heavy-duty electric vehicles (eHDVs).
  • Polenergia Group’s investments cover eight Rest and Service Areas: Chociszewo, Rogoziniec, Dopiewiec, Konarzewo, Targowa Górka, Chwałszyce, Skarboszewo, and Lądek.
  • Allego has already installed EV charging stations at the Koryta, Walewice, Wytomyśl, Kozielaski, Gozdowo, and Sołeczno Rest and Service Areas.

As a result, drivers traveling the A2 in electric vehicles can plan their routes safely, confident that every few dozen kilometers they will find an ultra-fast charging station.

Synergy of Infrastructure and Ecology

The construction of an EV charging network is not only about user convenience — it also has a tangible impact on environmental protection:

  • By providing infrastructure for electric vehicles, including heavy-duty eHDVs, we are creating conditions for more sustainable transport and lower emissions in the future.
  • The development of the EV charging network supports the use of quieter vehicles, which can contribute to reducing noise levels along the motorway.
  • The charging stations are powered by renewable energy sources.

Through these initiatives, Autostrada Wielkopolska contributes to the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy, supporting the development of modern, environmentally responsible transport solutions. We are committed to sustainable growth — combining care for the environment with investment in the future of mobility. Thanks to cooperation with leading EV infrastructure providers and a consistent policy of supporting green technologies, we are ensuring that the motorway not only connects cities but also benefits both nature and its users.
