Renovation works on trunk road DK29 within Świecko Interchange

On 8/9 of June begins another stage of renovation works within Świecko Interchange (3km of motorway). Works will be organized on trunk road DK29. It’s second part out of three of renovation works planned to be executed on this Interchange. The pavement renovation of DK29 will last till 18th of June. Due to Corpus Christi period, between 14th and 18th of June all works will be stopped, to keep the drivability of Interchange.

Due to the complexity of works, schemes presented below will be changed depending on the progress of works. There will be temporal traffic system within the Interchange. Scheduled working schemes:

A) Milling of trunk road DK29 pavement

1. Renovation of western part of trunk road DK29 (section within slip road C and C1) with a passage from Słubice to Zielona Góra – passage reassigned to eastern road.
2. Renovation of western part of trunk road DK29 (section within slip road D1 and E) with a passage from Słubice to Zielona Góra – passage reassigned to eastern road.
3. Renovation of western part of trunk road DK29 (from A1 slip road in direction of Zielona Góra) with a passage from Słubice to Zielona Góra – passage reassigned to eastern road.
4. Renovation of eastern part of trunk road DK29 (from Zielona Góra to section at height A1 slip road) with a passage from Zielona Góra to Słubice – passage reassigned to western road.
5. Renovation of eastern part of trunk road DK29 (section at height within slip road D1 and A1) with a passage from Zielona Góra to Słubice – passage reassigned to western road. 
6. Renovation of eastern part of trunk road DK29 (section at height within slip road C and C1) with a passage from Zielona Góra to Słubice – passage reassigned to western road.

B) Layering of wearing course on trunk road DK29

1. Renovation of western part of trunk road DK29 (from Słubice to section at height of C1 slip road) with a passage from Słubice to Zielona Góra – passage reassigned to eastern road. Partial closure of slip road C – designated detour and traffic reassigned on slip road C1 with a passage from DK29 to Świecko.
2. Renovation of western part of trunk road DK29 (section within slip road C1 and D1) with a passage from Słubice to Zielona Góra – passage reassigned to eastern road. Closure of slip road C1 – designated detour and traffic reassigned on slip road C with a passage from DK29 to Świecko.
3. Renovation of western part of trunk road DK29 (section within slip road D1 and A1) with a passage from Słubice to Zielona Góra – passage reassigned to eastern road. Partial closure of slip road D1 and D. Passage from Poznań to DK29 lead by detour and slip road C1. Passage from DK29 in direction of Poznań lead by detour and slip road A1.
4. Renovation of western part of trunk road DK29 (section from slip road A1 in direction of Zielona Góra) – passage reassigned to eastern road. Closure of slip road A1 – passage from DK2 from Świecko to DK29 lead by detour and slip road E.
5. Renovation of eastern road of trunk road DK29 (from Zielona Góra to section at height A1 slip road) with a passage from Zielona Góra in direction of Słubice – passage reassigned to western road.
6. Renovation of eastern part of trunk road DK29 (section at height within slip road D1 and A1) with a passage from Zielona Góra to Słubice – passage reassigned to western road.
7. Renovation of eastern part of trunk road DK29 (section at height within slip road C and C1) with a passage from Zielona Góra to Słubice – passage reassigned to western road.

Works are conducted within Świecko Interchange. Renovation is mainly pavement construction milling and layering of wearing course. The executor of the works is Strabag LLC (person to contact with: Marcin Szczepański, tel. +48 695 020 857). The finalization of second part of works is scheduled for the 18th of June. Dates and sequences can change.

The temporal traffic system was agreed with Provincial Police Headquarters in Gorzów Wlkp., General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Zielona Góra, Autostradą Wielkopolską Inc, Autostradą Eksploatacja Inc, National Road District in Słubice. German side was informed about renovation of Świecko Interchange by executor of works.
