A2 Świecko - Konin | Every kilometer matters
Starting September 11, 2026, Autostrada Wielkopolska SA is introducing promotional rates for drivers using videotolling—an electronic toll collection system that reads vehicle license plates. Thanks to these discounts, drivers will pay between 1 and 5 zł less at each toll gate between Poznań and Konin. The discount amount depends on the vehicle category.
Starting September 11, 2026, the toll rates between Konin and Poznań for transactions processed through the videotolling system will be as follows:
Videotolling is an electronic toll collection system that uses automatic license plate recognition. It enables convenient payment without the need for cash, payment cards, or on-board devices. The driver simply stops the vehicle at the designated gate, and the system automatically identifies the license plate number and charges the fee to a previously registered account. Benefits for users:
Faster and more convenient payment – the toll is charged automatically upon license plate recognition, without the need to have cash, a card, or a phone ready.
Shorter processing time at toll gates—passing through dedicated videotolling lanes is more efficient, which is particularly important during periods of heavy traffic.

The introduction of videotolling—an electronic payment system that recognizes license plates—across the entire concession section of the A2 between Świecko and Konin is planned for the end of 2026.
Effective September 11, 2026, the toll for each of the three 50-km sections of the highway between Konin and Nowy Tomyśl will be:
Each toll for traveling on the A2 concession section includes a 23% VAT, which goes to the state budget.
A safe, comfortable, and efficient highway journey requires systematic investments. Over the past 10 years, Autostrada Wielkopolska has allocated nearly 1 billion PLN to maintenance, repairs, modernization, and infrastructure development to ensure drivers enjoy a high standard of safety and comfort while traveling.
The company consistently develops solutions that facilitate the day-to-day use of the motorway. These include scheduled maintenance and pavement repairs, 24/7 highway patrols, intelligent traffic management systems, modern toll collection methods—including video tolling—and the development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
This infrastructure development is supported by road safety initiatives, including educational programs, public awareness campaigns, and initiatives promoting responsible driving behavior.
Long-term investments in infrastructure, technology, and user services ensure that drivers enjoy a modern, well-maintained highway that provides a high level of safety, smooth traffic flow, and a comfortable travel experience.
