On the road with culture

As part of its social and sponsorship activities, Autostrada Wielkopolska supports cultural institutions and events. It is with joy and satisfaction that we perform joint projects with the Musical Theater and the National Museum in Poznań.

We believe that supporting culture is as important as supporting everyday business activities. We promote road safety and cultured behavior on the road. We would like general sensitivity and positive reflections spectators have after participating in cultural events to translate into behavior on the road. Hence the idea to strengthen the message “on the road with culture”. In many situations, including those experienced while driving on motorways, culture and attention to other drivers are simply lacking. I hope that by supporting cultural activities we can make our small contribution and influence the processes shaping attitudes and the way of looking at various aspects of everyday life.

Cooperation with various cultural institutions forms an important aspect of our social activity. Autostrada Wielkopolska makes part of an important system operating for the benefit of local communities and contributes to their development. Therefore we strengthen the relations with the communities also in this intangible but important sphere of our everyday life. – says Krzysztof Andrzejewski, member of the Management Board of Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A.

We share our many years of experience in the construction and management of road infrastructure. We are eager to advise and support the activities of other institutions, such as the Musical Theater in Poznań, which is preparing to build a new facility and develop its activities. However, before that happens, we are happy to support the production of many performances awaited by the audience and presented with a modern flourish.

As part of our sponsorship activities, we cooperate with the National Museum in Poznań. We took patronage over the exhibition of works by Japanese designer Kenya Hara. He is an artist who translates traditional Japanese minimalism into a modern design language in diverse areas of life. We also supported the creation of a mural promoting the exhibition, a novel idea in the promotion of events organized by the National Museum in Poznań.

Cooperation with the Musical Theater and the National Museum in Poznań follows the long term tradition of cooperation with cultural institutions. Autostrada Wielkopolska was involved in the organization of the Malta Theater Festival for a long time. We support cyclical theater performances for children staying in Poznań hospitals, and together with other institutions and organizations we implement cultural and educational programs. We are simply on the road with culture!
