Behind the wheel, the consequences can be far more serious. In the \u2018Don\u2019t do on the road what you wouldn\u2019t do in life\u2019 campaign, we remind you: when driving, focus on what matters most \u2013 the road.<\/h2>\n<p>This time, we\u2019re taking a closer look at a lack of concentration. As in the previous instalment of the campaign, we\u2019re transferring behaviours familiar from the road into everyday life. In this context, their absurdity is immediately apparent. Behind the wheel, however, it\u2019s easy to forget that a moment\u2019s inattention can mean there isn\u2019t enough time to react properly.<\/p>\n<h4>Your phone, the car\u2019s display, eating or other activities carried out whilst driving distract your attention from what\u2019s happening ahead. And on the Motorway, the situation can change very quickly.<\/h4>\n<p>At a speed of 140 km\/h, a car covers nearly 40 metres in a single second. So even a brief moment of taking your eyes off the road is enough to travel a considerable distance without full control of the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t do on the road what you wouldn\u2019t do in life. We do this with a sense of humour and a touch of irony \u2013 without lecturing, but with a clear message: behind the wheel, our everyday decisions have a direct impact on safety.<\/p>\n<p>The first instalment of the campaign served as a reminder to <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"\u2018https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/aktualnosci\/nie-czyn-na-drodze-co-w-zyciu-niemile\/\u2019\">keeping a safe distance from the vehicle in front<\/a><\/span>&gt;.
