Autostrada Wielkopolska SA is introducing promotional rates for users of the electronic videotolling system, which is based on automatic license plate recognition.<\/h2>\n<p>Starting September 11, 2026, Autostrada Wielkopolska SA is introducing promotional rates for drivers using videotolling\u2014an electronic toll collection system that reads vehicle license plates. Thanks to these discounts, drivers will pay between 1 and 5 z\u0142 less at each toll gate between Pozna\u0144 and Konin. The discount amount depends on the vehicle category.<\/p>\n<p>Starting September 11, 2026, the toll rates between Konin and Pozna\u0144 for transactions processed through the videotolling system will be as follows:<\/p>\n<h4>At the Nagradowice Toll Plaza (182 km A2) and the L\u0105dek Toll Plaza (239 km A2), the payment for a 50-km section:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>20 PLN \u2013 Cat. 6 (motorcycles) rate reduced by 1 PLN<\/li>\n<li>39 PLN \u2013 Cat. 1 (two-axle passenger vehicles) \u2013 rate reduced by 2 PLN<\/li>\n<li>67 PLN \u2013 Cat. 2 (two-axle motor vehicles, at least one axle of which is equipped with dual wheels, as well as motorcycles and two-axle motor vehicles with trailers) \u2013 rate reduced by 4 PLN<\/li>\n<li>105 PLN \u2013 Cat. 3 (three-axle motor vehicles and two-axle motor vehicles, at least one of whose axles is equipped with dual wheels, with trailers) \u2013 rate reduced by 3 z\u0142<\/li>\n<li>160 PLN \u2013 Cat. 4 (motor vehicles with more than three axles and three-axle motor vehicles with trailers) \u2013 rate reduced by 5 PLN<\/li>\n<li>410 PLN \u2013 Cat. 5 (oversized vehicles) \u2013 not applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Videotolling is an electronic toll collection system that uses automatic license plate recognition. It enables convenient payment without the need for cash, payment cards, or on-board devices. The driver simply stops the vehicle at the designated gate, and the system automatically identifies the license plate number and charges the fee to a previously registered account. Benefits for users:<br \/>\nFaster and more convenient payment \u2013 the toll is charged automatically upon license plate recognition, without the need to have cash, a card, or a phone ready.<\/p>\n<p>Shorter processing time at toll gates\u2014passing through dedicated videotolling lanes is more efficient, which is particularly important during periods of heavy traffic.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greater travel comfort\u2014the driver does not need to roll down the window or hand over payment to toll booth staff.<\/li>\n<li>Automatic toll processing\u2014the fee is charged automatically upon passing through the toll gate.<\/li>\n<li>No additional devices required\u2014simply register the vehicle in advance in a supported app or activate the service through select fuel cards.<\/li>\n<li>Available to individual drivers and fleets\u2014the service can be used by app users (Autopay, bank&#8217;s apps) and fuel card holders (E100, Shell Card)<\/li>\n<li>Less paperwork while traveling\u2014drivers can focus on driving, and payment is processed automatically.<\/li>\n<li>Lower travel costs\u2014videotolling users will benefit from preferential toll rates on the concession section of the A2 between Pozna\u0144 and Konin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-8806\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/AWSA-VIDEOTOLLIN-26-baner-740x460-1-300x186.jpg\" alt=\"AWSA VIDEOTOLLIN 26 baner 740x460 1 300x186\" width=\"553\" height=\"343\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/AWSA-VIDEOTOLLIN-26-baner-740x460-1-300x186.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/AWSA-VIDEOTOLLIN-26-baner-740x460-1.jpg 740w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 553px) 100vw, 553px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The introduction of videotolling\u2014an electronic payment system that recognizes license plates\u2014across the entire concession section of the A2 between \u015awiecko and Konin is planned for the end of 2026.<\/p>\n<h4>At the same time, toll rates for traditional payments will change.<\/h4>\n<p>Effective September 11, 2026, the toll for each of the three 50-km sections of the highway between Konin and Nowy Tomy\u015bl will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>21 PLN \u2013 Cat. 6 (motorcycles)<\/li>\n<li>41 PLN \u2013 Cat. 1 (two-axle passenger vehicles)<\/li>\n<li>71 PLN \u2013 Cat. 2 (two-axle motor vehicles, at least one of whose axles is equipped with dual wheels, as well as motorcycles and two-axle motor vehicles with trailers)<\/li>\n<li>108 PLN \u2013 Cat. 3 (three-axle motor vehicles and two-axle motor vehicles, at least one of whose axles is equipped with dual wheels, with trailers)<\/li>\n<li>165 PLN \u2013 Cat. 4 (motor vehicles with more than three axles and three-axle motor vehicles with trailers)<\/li>\n<li>410 PLN \u2013 Cat. 5 (oversized vehicles)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each toll for traveling on the A2 concession section includes a 23% VAT, which goes to the state budget.<\/p>\n<h4>Ongoing investments in safety and modern solutions for drivers<\/h4>\n<p>A safe, comfortable, and efficient highway journey requires systematic investments. Over the past 10 years, Autostrada Wielkopolska has allocated nearly 1 billion PLN to maintenance, repairs, modernization, and infrastructure development to ensure drivers enjoy a high standard of safety and comfort while traveling.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Round-the-clock presence of patrols and maintenance crews who respond quickly to incidents,<\/li>\n<li>high-quality pavement, which is essential for safe and smooth travel,<\/li>\n<li>regular repairs carried out proactively to maintain high pavement quality,<\/li>\n<li>round-the-clock route monitoring,<\/li>\n<li>winter maintenance at the highest safety standards,<\/li>\n<li>efficient removal of breakdowns and collision damage,<\/li>\n<li>modern solutions that enhance safety and travel comfort (including an electronic payment system, intelligent traffic management systems, section-based speed measurement, and a network of EV charging stations)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The company consistently develops solutions that facilitate the day-to-day use of the motorway.
