That is why this year we joined in organising the Safety Workshops 2026, which took place on 11 June at the J\u00f3zef Stru\u015b Multispecialist Municipal Hospital in Pozna\u0144.<\/h2>\n<p>The event, organised by the Pozna\u0144 \u2013 Nowe Miasto Police Station and the J\u00f3zef Stru\u015b Multispecialist Municipal Hospital, brought together over 40 institutions, services and partners, who jointly promoted safe behaviour on the roads, first aid and responsible preparation for summer holidays.<\/p>\n<p>There was also plenty of focus on motorway safety. Our \u2018Motorway Driving Course\u2019 stand proved extremely popular. Visitors were able to speak to experts about the rules for safe travel on motorways and expressways, and test their knowledge through practical tasks and quizzes.<br \/>\nDuring our discussions with participants, we highlighted, amongst other things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>how to merge correctly onto the motorway,<\/li>\n<li>why it is important to maintain a safe distance between vehicles,<\/li>\n<li>how to behave in the event of a breakdown or collision,<\/li>\n<li>when and how to form an emergency corridor,<\/li>\n<li>and what the most common mistakes made by drivers on the motorway are.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our motorway driving simulator, reaction time tester and educational materials prepared as part of the Motorway Driving Course programme \u2013 which aims to raise drivers\u2019 awareness and promote safe behaviour on motorways \u2013 proved very popular.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-8770\" src=\"https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Autotstrada-Wielkopolska-Warsztaty-Bezpieczenstwa-02-300x186.png\" alt=\"Autotstrada Wielkopolska Warsztaty Bezpieczenstwa 02 300x186\" width=\"474\" height=\"294\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Autotstrada-Wielkopolska-Warsztaty-Bezpieczenstwa-02-300x186.png 300w, https:\/\/www.autostrada-a2.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Autotstrada-Wielkopolska-Warsztaty-Bezpieczenstwa-02.png 740w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 474px) 100vw, 474px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For several years now, the Safety Workshops have demonstrated that the most effective form of education is hands-on practice and direct contact with experts.
