On Saturday, August 23, the second stage of road surface renovation will begin at the Pozna\u0144 Wsch\u00f3d motorway interchange, where the A2 motorway meets the S5 expressway towards Bydgoszcz. During this stage, all exit ramps from the A2 to the S5 will be closed \u2013 both from the Warsaw and \u015awiecko directions.<\/h1>\n

Detours will be provided according to the approved temporary traffic management plan. Autostrada Wielkopolska SA urges drivers to drive carefully and pay close attention to road signs.

\n\u2022 From Warsaw towards Bydgoszcz\/Gniezno \u2013 via the Wrze\u015bnia interchange, national road DK92 to the Kostrzyn interchange.<\/p>\n

\nChanges on the main motorway carriageway<\/h4>\n

Between km 177 and 180 of the A2, all traffic will be shifted to the northbound carriageway, where two lanes in each direction will be available.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to use the left lanes.
\n\u2022 The emergency lane will be closed.
\n\u2022 A speed limit of 60 km\/h will be in force.<\/p>\n

Important for drivers coming from \u015awiecko<\/h4>\n

The toll-free section of the A2 (Pozna\u0144 Motorway Bypass) ends at the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange. This is the last exit without tolls. The next exit towards Warsaw is at the Wrze\u015bnia interchange, which means drivers will need to pay at the Nagradowice Toll Plaza.<\/p>\n

Work schedule<\/h4>\n

The renovation of the Pozna\u0144 East interchange has been divided into stages to minimize inconvenience:
\n\u2022 Stage I \u2013 entrance ramps renovation, completed in May 2025.
\n\u2022 Stage II \u2013 from August 23, exit ramps will be closed for modernization. Works are expected to take around two weeks, depending on weather conditions.<\/p>\n
