Starting Saturday, August 2, road crews will begin implementing elements of a new temporary traffic organization near the Krzy\u017cowniki\/Tulce MOPs. Temporary lanes will be marked for vehicles traveling on the motorway, and warning, mandatory, and prohibitory signs related to the construction will be installed.<\/p>\n
From August 3, the following traffic organization will be in effect due to the expansion:
\n\u2022 Between Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange and km 176 A2, traffic will remain fully shifted onto the northern carriageway, which will have four lanes: two in the direction of Warsaw (against the usual flow) and two toward \u015awiecko. Heavy vehicles will be banned from using the left lanes in both directions. The emergency lane will not be available, and a speed limit of 60 km\/h will apply in traffic shift areas.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 The southern carriageway of the motorway will also be closed to traffic between km 176 and 177. Traffic in both directions will continue to use the northern carriageway (as from km 171). Drivers will have two lanes available in each direction\u2014toward \u015awiecko and Warsaw. The emergency lane will remain unavailable, and heavy vehicles will still be prohibited from the left lanes in both directions.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Around km 177, traffic heading toward Warsaw will be shifted back to the southern carriageway of the motorway.<\/p>\n
