Due to the ongoing expansion of the A2 motorway to include a third lane on the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny \u2013 Pozna\u0144 Wsch\u00f3d section, a new traffic pattern will be introduced over a 5-kilometer stretch between the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange (A2 km 171) and the Krzy\u017cowniki\/Tulce Service Area (A2 km 176) on July 26\u201327.<\/h4>\n

Starting Saturday, July 26, road crews will begin implementing elements of a new temporary traffic organization between the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange and the Krzy\u017cowniki\/Tulce service area. Temporary traffic lanes for motorway traffic will be marked out, and warning, mandatory, and prohibitory signs related to the construction work will be installed.<\/p>\n

As of July 27, all traffic in this area will be shifted entirely to the northbound carriageway of the motorway, where four lanes will be designated: two heading toward Warsaw (in the opposite direction of normal flow) and two heading toward \u015awiecko. Heavy vehicles will be prohibited from using the left lane in both directions. The emergency lane will not be available. Speed will be limited to 60 km\/h in the areas where traffic is shifted. Access to the Motorway Service Areas (MOPs) on both sides of the motorway will remain open.<\/p>\n

Safety First \u2013 Appeal to Drivers During Road Expansion<\/h4>\n

We are making every effort to ensure that the expansion work is carried out smoothly, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to driver comfort. We understand that the construction zone may cause temporary inconveniences, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
\nWe also urge drivers to exercise particular caution in the construction area. Just beyond the barriers separating traffic from the work zone, there are not only machines but, most importantly, people at work. The construction site has been carefully planned and secured, and all activities are being carried out in accordance with applicable safety standards and regulations.
\nHowever, driver behavior plays a critical role in ensuring safety. Therefore, we ask: Be alert. Slow down. Adjust your speed to the conditions, follow the signs, and stay especially cautious. Together, we can ensure that road workers can perform their duties in safe conditions.<\/p>\n
