Drivers have access to 22 ultra-fast EV chargers from the Polenergia Group, offering charging power from 180 kW to 400 kW.

There are now 22 ultra-fast Polenergia charging stations operating along the Autostrada Wielkopolska. Drivers can use chargers with power ranging from 180 kW to 400 kW at eight Rest and Service Areas (MOPs). This is a significant improvement for EV travel and a response to growing market demand.

Expanding the charging station network is not only a response to the growing needs of drivers but also a tangible contribution to environmental protection. Investments in charging infrastructure are an integral part of our ESG strategy, especially in the area of responsible management. We focus on trusted partners and high-quality services to ensure reliable and safe solutions for users of the concession section of A2 motorway. Developing the network of charging stations at all 22 Rest and Service Areas between Świecko and Konin is a deliberate step toward modern, sustainable transport – said Paweł Struski, Member of the Management Board of Autostrada Wielkopolska SA.

Both the Chociszewo and Rogoziniec Rest and Service Areas have been equipped with four charging stations for passenger cars and one station for heavy-duty electric trucks (eHDVs). These stations provide charging power from 180 kW to 400 kW. At the other six Rest and Service Areas, including Lądek and Skarboszewo, there are two 300 kW stations each. Altogether, the total installed capacity by Polenergia along the concession section of the A2 motorway reaches 5.5 MW.

The charging stations at these two additional Rest and Service Areas are part of Polenergia’s previously planned actions to expand e-mobility infrastructure along the section between Świecko and Konin. With this, we have completed the project of building a network of ultra-fast chargers in eight locations along the concession section of the A2 – said Łukasz Buczyński, Member of the Management Board at Polenergia.

The A2 motorway’s location is of strategic importance.
