On 24 June, road works will begin as part of the widening of the Pozna\u0144 Bypass by a 3rd lane in the neighborhood of the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange. The works will entail a change in traffic organization. Drivers are requested to be alert and to abide by the temporary traffic organization signs.<\/h4>\n

As of this Monday, 24 June, there will be a change in the traffic organization in the area of the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange on the Pozna\u0144 Bypass. Roadbuilders will begin the 3rd lane construction on the A2 motorway in the section between km 169 and km 172 , i.e. in the vicinity of the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange.<\/p>\n

Traffic will be routed as follows:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mainline travelers heading towards \u015awiecko (from Warsaw direction) will be able to use two lanes: the slow lane and the fast lane of the northern carriageway. Two existing lanes will be closed off, which will require drivers entering the motorway from Pozna\u0144 and K\u00f3rnik to be extremely alert on the collector-distributor road of the interchange and when entering the mainline.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Drivers heading towards Warsaw will use the fast lane and the slow lane of the southern carriageway. The emergency lane and one of the two exit lanes towards the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny interchange will be closed to traffic.<\/p>\n

Within the area of the works, speed limits of 100, 80 and 60 km\/h, respectively, will apply.<\/p>\n

In this section (between km 169 and km 171 of the A2 motorway), works will continue for ca. two months. Please note that inclement weather conditions may delay the completion date.<\/p>\n

The change in traffic organization between the Rest and Service Areas of Krzy\u017cowniki and Tulce and the Pozna\u0144 Wsch\u00f3d interchange (176-180 km of A2), made on 17 June remains in force. Special attention must be paid to the fact that after passing the bifurcation next to the Krzy\u017cowniki Rest Area, driving in the left lane makes it impossible to exit in the direction of Bydgoszcz. Please remember that u-turning and reversing on the motorway is prohibited and may lead to extremely dangerous situations.<\/p>\n

Pay attention. Slow down<\/h4>\n

Working just behind the barriers separating traffic from the construction site, are not only machines, but more importantly – people. The site has been designed and secured with special care, and the work has been planned in accordance with requirements and rules to ensure the safety of workers. Drivers who pass the site also have their impact on the safety of workers. Therefore, we draw drivers’ attention to driving safely, adjusting speed, obeying road signs and being attentive.
\nThe widening of the Pozna\u0144 bypass to include the third lane in another 10 kilometers, i.e. between the Pozna\u0144 Krzesiny and Pozna\u0144 Wsch\u00f3d interchanges, is aimed at improving traffic flow and ensuring efficient, safe and comfortable travel along the A2 concession section. Road workers are working hard to ensure that drivers have three lanes in each direction on time and by a certain deadline. Let’s pull together to ensure the safety of road workers performing their job.<\/p>\n
