Tickets are used in the section \u015awiecko – Pozna\u0144 where the closed system is in operation. Tickets expire after 48 hours. With a valid ticket the driver pays at exit for the actual number of kilometers traveled. After the ticket expires, the driver will have to pay at exit for the entire length of the section with the closed tolling system, even if the driver exits at an earlier interchange.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n
There are 12 gas stations in total on the concession section of A2, 6 in each direction, located on the opposite sides of the road, within the distance of ca. 50 km from one another. These are BP stations and Orlen stations located at the Service Areas of:<\/p>\n

Fire engines travel toll-free on the concession motorway on their way to and from incidents and – in the absence of a prior notification – when the engine emits light signal or audible signal.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Why AWSA charges the same toll rate from cars and motorcycles, while on public motorways bikers pay half of the car toll rate?\r\n <\/button>\n \n Vehicle categorization results from the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure and has been incorporated in the concession agreement between AWSA and the government. According to the Regulation, motorcycles and cars both fall under Category I. AWSA is open to make a change, however it would have to be reflected in the concession agreement, hence relevant arrangements with the Minister of Infrastructure would be required. Tell the location of an incident and describe what happened so that the emergency services can start their intervention as soon as practicable. Recovery service or the driver may perform minor repairs, refill fuel, oil, etc. on site within the time limit not exceeding 20 minutes.\nIn the event the driver is not capable of availing themselves of their own recovery service, one proposed by the Operator may be used. Neither the Concessionaire nor the Operator shall be liable for the quality of the services rendered by the recovery service.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n What should I do if I notice an animal wandering on the motorway? <\/button>\n \n Any animal\u2019s intrusion on the motorway should be reported to the hotline operator at +48 800 022 242 or directly to the Central Control Room at +48 618 383 112.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n <\/ul>\n<\/div>\n \n \n INVOICES AND DUPLICATES<\/h2>\n \n \n \n <\/svg>\n <\/div>\n <\/button>\n\n \n \n \n \n \n Can I get a VAT invoice for my trips on the A2 concession motorway? <\/button>\n \n In light of the provisions of law effective as of 1 January 2014, fiscal receipts (given to drivers once they have paid toll in cash or with their pay card) being proof of a trip on A2 toll motorway both in the section Nowy Tomy\u015bl – Konin managed by Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. and in the section \u015awiecko – Nowy Tomy\u015bl managed by Autostrada Wielkopolska II S.A., are VAT invoices within the meaning of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance dated 3 December 2013 on issuing invoices (PL OJ 2013 item 1485) The provision underlying such interpretation of a fiscal receipt as a VAT invoice can be found in \u00a7 3 sec. 4 of the abovementioned Regulation.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Can drivers request a VAT invoice instead of a fiscal receipt?\r\n <\/button>\n \n Each driver is handed a fiscal receipt. According to law, such receipt is a VAT invoice and entitles the holder to deduct input VAT . Therefore, requests for issuing a standard VAT invoice have no legal grounds.<\/p>\nAn exception to this rule are non-fiscal receipts issued whenever a fleet card is used for payment of the toll. Then, invoice is issued by the card issuer.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Is it possible to get a collective VAT invoice covering all fiscal receipts issued in a given period (e.g. in a month)? <\/button>\n \n No, it\u2019s not possible. According to law, fiscal receipts are already VAT invoices. Therefore it is impossible to invoice the same service twice – with a receipt and once more, with an invoice.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Is it possible to receive a duplicate of a fiscal receipt? <\/button>\n \n According to art. 106 sec. 1 of the VAT Act: \u201cWhenever an invoice is destroyed or lost, the taxpayer or a third party authorized by the taxpayer shall re-issue such invoice:<\/p>\na)\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0at a request of the buyer – according to the data on the invoice held by the taxpayer (\u2026)\u201d.<\/p>\nThis means that a duplicate (i.e. a document restating the data from the original receipt) may be issued to the driver\/buyer of the trip service in case the original receipt has been lost or destroyed provided the requesting party can prove without a doubt that he\/she was the buyer of such service.<\/p>\nGiven the fact that, according to law, there is no data of the driver on the fiscal receipt issued on A2 toll motorway, no request of issuing a duplicate can be granted without confirmation of the fact that such service was consumed.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n There is different data on the proof of payment of toll on the A2 concession – who indeed is the seller? <\/button>\n \n According to individual tax ruling held by the Company, it is Autostrada Eksploatacja S.A, rather than the Company itself, that should be printed on the fiscal receipt as the taxpayer to document the sale of motorway trip service, notwithstanding the fact that such sale may be performer in the name and on behalf of the Company.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Can a driver get a non-fiscal receipt at the Toll Plaza? <\/button>\n \n The driver is given a non-fiscal receipt whenever payment has been made by a fleet card. Then, invoice is issued by the card issuer. A non-fiscal receipt is solely a confirmation of payment transaction using the fleet card. Any settlement is based on an invoice issued by the respective oil company rather than by the concession company.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Is the receipt received when paying the toll for the motorway a simplified invoice?\r\n <\/button>\n \n The receipt is a VAT invoice in the regulations of the Minister of Finance of 3 December 2013 on issuing invoices (Dz. There is a number of reasons why the concession and public section tolls differ. The most prominent ones include:<\/p>\n
There are two tolling systems in operation in the concession section of A2 \u015awiecko \u2013 Konin: open and closed. The open system is used in the section Pozna\u0144 – Konin. Drivers pay fixed toll at two Toll Plazas in L\u0105dek and Nagradowice for a given section of the motorway. At L\u0105dek payment refers to the section Wrze\u015bnia – Konin, while at Nagradowice – the section Pozna\u0144 – Wrze\u015bnia. At Go\u0142uski Toll Plaza drivers take ticket and enter the closed system. The ticket entitles the driver to pay single toll for using the motorway at exit through a given Toll Station (Buk, Nowy Tomy\u015bl, Trzciel, Jordanowo, Torzym) or – in case the trip is all the way to the border in \u015awiecko – at Tarnawa Toll Plaza. In the opposite direction, from \u015awiecko to Konin, toll collection process is the same, with ticket taken at Tarnawa and payment for the entire stretch from \u015awiecko to Pozna\u0144 made at Go\u0142uski.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n
According to the Motorway Rules:<\/p>\n
The user who shall present the entry ticket collected at the same Toll Plaza\/Station shall be subject to a maximum toll applicable at the given Toll Plaza for the relevant vehicle category; in addition a surcharge may apply (excepting certain extraordinary circumstances due to any accident etc. which may have prevented the user from using the toll motorway.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Who sets tolls for the new section of the A2 concession? What do the tolls depend on? <\/button>\n \n \n\n\nThe toll rates collected in the section \u015awiecko – Nowy Tomy\u015bl are determined by the Minister of Infrastructure based on the concession agreement with the government and on the financial model and traffic forecasts. Adjustments of tolls that took place and will take place until 2037 result from, without limitation, inflation, foreign exchange differences, development of new projects, such as for example motorway interchanges or the third lane, the need to repay construction loans, the need to fund further investments envisaged in the plan.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/li>\n \n \n \n \n Why I don\u2019t have to enter my PIN when paying toll with my card? <\/button>\n \n Transactions are authorized offline without entering PIN. This means the authorization does not require online communication requesting authorization from the card issuer.
