On 2 November 2008 Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. extended its offer to include new chip cards for using A2 Toll Motorway, which replaced the magnetic cards binding until then.

The service life of chip cards is much longer compared to magnetic cards. The advantage of new cards is that they are failure-free, reliable, and rewritable. A discharged card may be recharged in dedicated outlets in the motorway. There is the vehicle number, number of passages, validity date and card number printed on a discount card.

The discount cards for vehicles of I class (category), offered by Autostrada Wielkopolska S.A. are an exceptionally good solution for all those who value not only the savings but also the convenience, time and safety.

Advantages:

1. Cash-free method of payment of toll;
2. The costs reduction reaches as much as 30%;
3. The cards are issued to bearer driving a vehicle in a given class;
4. The card is not confined to any single registration plate of a vehicle but rather to a given class of vehicles;
5. The owner may block the card by making a simple phone call in case it is lost or stolen;
6. A replacement card may be issued in the event the card was blocked;
7. For a registered card one may receive a statement of the number of trips made so far.

The cards are sent in mail at the cost of the buyer or released to a duly authorized person at each of the Points of Sale (Kotowo, Lądek, Nagradowice, Gołuski)
