An impressive castle, according to some built on the fundaments of an old neo-Gothic villa, in order to celebrate visit of the emperor Wilhelm II. An initiator of its rebuilding ca. 1900 was Wilhelm Hardt, son of a Berlin banker and industrialist. Interiors match the splendid external form: a huge, open hall, neo-gothic dining room, a double-storey library. In the supremely well-kept Wąsowo palace there are now a hotel, restaurant and conference centre.

A breath-taking and well-kept park, with proudly sauntering peacocks, matches the beauty of nearby architecture. On the hill, where the park transforms into a natural forest, there is a romantic cemetery, where rest the old-time Wąsowo owners from the Hardt family.
