ATTENTION DRIVERS!

Due to numerous inquiries from drivers, we inform you that Jordanowo interchange located on the new section of motorway from Nowy Tomyśl to Świecko is out of use because of the delay by GDDKiA in the realization of the express road no. 3 that leads to the motorway. All information concerning this subject can be obtained from the investor of express road no. 3, that is GDDKiA in Warsaw, PR managers: mrugasiewicz@gddkia.gov.pl, jakubowska@gddkia.gov.pl.

Roads that are connected with the motorway through the interchanges Trzciel and Torzym are not adapted to heavy trucks. These roads do not have the appropriate bearing capacity, that is 110 kN. The first interchange that can hold heavy vehicle traffic on the motorway from Nowy Tomyśl to Świecko is the one in Rzepin.

At the stage of project works, local governments of Trzciel and Torzym declared the elevation of bearing capacity of roads leading to interchanges simultaneously with the commencement of te motorway. What is more, AWSAII has been frequently putting forward a proposal to GDDKiA for the consent to use the road marking informing straightforwardly that there is no exit from the motorway for heavy trucks between Rzepin and Nowy Tomyśl. This claim was not accepted by GDDKiA that is responsible for the final sanction of the vertical road marking on the motorway.
